Middle School Art
(11-14 Year-Olds)

The Middle School Art Program is a creative journey designed to cultivate artistic skills and personal expression in our young artists. Open to all middle school students, our program offers engaging courses that provide a comprehensive foundation in visual arts and prepare students for artistic competitions.

Courses

Still Life Foundation

The Still Life Foundation class is the perfect starting point for students to learn the fundamentals of drawing and painting. In this course, students will work on a range of projects with various mediums. This project allows students to apply the techniques they have learned and showcase their developing artistic abilities.

Art Competition Prep

After completing the Still Life Foundation class, students can advance to the Art Competition Prep class. This course is designed to help students express their individual artistic voices and prepare for various art competitions. Building on the skills acquired in the foundation class, students will create artworks that reflect their personal style and vision.

Oil / Acrylic Painting

This course is designed for students focusing on painting, covering essential techniques in oil and acrylic. It includes color theory, composition, brushwork, and tool use, with personalized feedback to help refine skills and develop a unique style.
