
Spring Camps
During FCPS Spring Break, ViennArt Spring Camps offer middle and high school students an immersive art experience. Middle and high schoolers can join the Intensive Drawing Camp to strengthen core drawing skills. They can also explore creativity in the Digital Art Camp, learning essential digital tools and techniques.

Spring Intensive
Drawing Camps
Grade 8 to 11 (Ages: 12-16)
This 5-day Spring Camp is designed for middle and high school students looking to strengthen their art fundamentals. Through hands-on exercises, demonstrations, and guided critiques, students will practice essential drawing techniques using graphite, charcoal, pastel, and watercolor. Students who finish the camp may advance directly into our Still Life Foundation class, bypassing the first half of the curriculum. From there, they can continue on to the Art Competition Prep Class to further grow their skills and creativity.

Spring Digital Illustration Camp
Grade 6 to 11 (Ages: 10-16)
In our Spring Digital Art Camp, middle school students will dive into the world of digital illustration using Photoshop and Wacom tablets. They’ll learn essential program skills, explore techniques for designing and developing their own characters, and practice drawing a variety of poses and facial expressions. The camp also covers background painting and introduces the basics of digital comics, giving students a complete toolkit to bring their imaginative stories to life.

Camps Policies
1. Registration and Tuition Policy ​​

All registrations can be made online at https://viennart.asapconnected.com.

There is no transaction fee for payments made through Electric Check (ACH).
-
For payments made with a credit card, there is a 3.5% transaction fee.

Registration will be considered complete, and your class spot will be reserved, only upon the receipt of your payment.

2. Attendance and Make-up Policy
-
Camp Make-ups: No make-up sessions are available for any camps.

Weather-related Cancellations: Classes may be canceled due to inclement weather conditions. Make-up sessions will not be provided for weather-related cancellations.

Absences: Missed sessions cannot be credited, refunded, or carried over to future sessions or camps.

3. Transfer & Refund Policies
-
No transfers are available for any camps.

60 Days or More Before Camp Start Date: Cancellations made at least 60 days before the start of the camp will incur a $30 cancellation fee per week of the camp. The remaining balance will be refunded in full (100%).

30 to 59 Days Before Camp Start Date: Cancellations made 30 to 59 days before the camp start date will incur a $60 cancellation fee per week of the camp. The remaining balance will be refunded in full (100%).

Less Than 30 Days Before Camp Start Date: No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 30 days before the camp start date, regardless of the circumstances. No transfers are allowed under these circumstances.

Cancellation Requests: To request a cancellation, please contact our Enrollment Department at info@viennart.org.

4. Behavior and Etiquette

Cell Phone Usage: Cell phones are not permitted in the classroom. Phones should be set to vibrate while in the studios.

Respect and Behavior: Campers must show respect to each other, the facility, the staff, and the property of others. Respectful language must be used at all times. Campers are expected to follow the teacher’s instructions and guidelines.

Camp Materials & Devices: If a device used during camps is damaged, whether accidentally or intentionally, the responsible party will be required to compensate ViennArt Academy for the market price of the damaged device.

ViennArt Academy reserves the right to refuse admission or expel any students who are disruptive.

5. Photography Rights:
I understand that any photos or videos taken of my child and/or their artwork during ViennArt Academy programs become the property of the ViennArt Academy. These may be used in printed materials, digital media, or other marketing purposes. I acknowledge that no compensation will be provided for the use of such photos or videos.

6. Student Drop-Off and Pick-Up Policy

Timely Drop-Off and Pick-Up: Parents/guardians must ensure children are dropped off and picked up on time. Early drop-offs and late pick-ups are not permitted. If extended care is needed, please register for Extended Care (AM) and/or Extended Care (PM).

Late Pick-Up Fees: A fee of $5 per 10 minutes will be charged for late pick-ups after the camp's designated end time.

Regular Camp: Drop-off: 8:50 AM - 9:00 AM, Pick-up: 3:15 PM - 3:30 PM

Extended Care: AM Drop-off: 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM, PM Pick-up: 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM

Flexible Timing: You may drop off or pick up your child at any time within the designated periods for regular camp or extended care. No fee adjustments are made based on the specific drop-off or pick-up time.

14. Release Agreements:
I agree to be fully responsible for any medical expenses incurred as a result of illness or injury during my child’s or my participation in ViennArt Academy programs. I hereby release ViennArt Academy from any and all liability, claims, or damages arising from personal injury of any kind. I have read and understand the contents of the Registration and Tuition Policy, including the Attendance and Make-Up Policy, the Cancellation Policy, the Student Drop-off and Pick-up Policy, the Photography Rights Policy, and this Release Agreement.
